Istunnel på 500 meter

En tunnel i isbreen Langjökull skal være ferdig neste år. Tunnelen blir den største i Europa.

Iceland Review skriver:

Sigurður Skarphéðinsson, who is heading the project, told visir.is that 25,000 to 30,000 tourists are expected to visit the tunnel next year. The tunnel is 500 meters long and takes visitors 30 meters down into the glacier. The tunnel will be open eight months of the year.
