Biggest Concert in Iceland’s History
Justin Timberlake held his first concert in Iceland last night, at Kórinn sports hall in Kópavogur, a town just outside Reykjavík, to a crowd of around 17,000, Iceland Review reports.
Concert holder Ísleifur B. Þórhallsson said in an interview with Stöð 2 prior to the sold-out concert, which was part of Timberlake’s world tour in support of his bestselling album The 20/20 Experience, that the event would take concert management in Iceland to a new level.
“It is seldom that such a superstar at the height of his career visits Iceland. People have been waiting for tickets for months but they were sold out in 15 minutes. There is a lot of excitement surrounding it,” Ísleifur stated.
