BBC to Broadcast Icelandic Crime Series

BBC has purchased the broadcast rights to Icelandic crime series Ófærð (Trapped), which was produced by Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur’s production company RVK Studios, according to Television Business International.
The ten-part series was mostly shot in Siglufjörður, North Iceland. The story begins with the finding of a mutilated body. A blizzard sets in, trapping the town’s inhabitants, Iceland Review reports.
