Yukon Gained 1000 Residents in 2023

In 2023, Yukon surpassed the Northwest Territories as the most populated territory by about 388 people, according to Statistics Canada and CBC.

Yukon now has 45,148 residents, about 1,000 of whom moved to the territory between 2022 and 2023. International migrants made up the vast majority of this growth.

Since 2003, the territory's population has increased by 50 percent.
