UNICEF establishes office in Greenland
UNICEF, the UNs organisation for children, establishes a new office in Greenland, according to Sermitsiaq. The office will be located in Nuuk.
The goals is for UNICEF to be stronger represented in everyday life of Greenlandic children. The office will initially have two members of staff, one program officer and one student aide.
Former politician Sara Olsvig, who withdrew from Greenlandic politics last November, has been appointed its first-ever Program Officer.
