Preliminary 2024 Alaska General Election Results
In the Nov. 5 general election, Alaskans voted in races for president and the state’s lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, along with 50 of 60 seats in the Alaska Legislature, reports Anchorage Daily News.
Voters also were deciding two ballot measures, one that would raise the state’s minimum wage and another that would get rid of Alaska’s ranked choice general elections and open primaries, and whether to retain individual judges.
These preliminary results are based on data from the Alaska Division of Elections. They do not reflect ranked choice vote tabulations, which are scheduled to take place Nov. 20 for races in which no candidate surpassed the threshold (50% plus one vote) to win outright.
