Norway Investigates Possible Violations of Sanctions Against Russia

The Norwegian Police Security Service (PST) is investigating 14 cases concerning violations of sanctions against Russia.

They include everything from the export of luxury goods to more serious matters concerning the export of goods. Instead of the goods being sent directly to Russia, they can go via a third country to hide the actual recipient.

The customs agency has, among other things, seen that marine technology is sent to a country without a coastline, writes E24.

According to PST, Norwegian companies that have previously sold goods to Russia receive the same order from other countries while they are obviously going to Russia.

PST is concerned that Norwegian companies may end up in criminal liability if they do not follow the regulations well enough.
