Luleå University of Technology on Important List

Luleå University of Technology in northern Sweden has eight research projects on the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences' (IVA) list of the 100 most interesting projects in innovation through interdisciplinary science.

The 103 research projects on the IVA-list are expected to have great potential to benefit society through commercialisation, business and method development, or social impact. With eight projects on the list, LTU occupies fourth place among Sweden's universities.

“At Luleå University of Technology, research is conducted that shapes the future and creates societal benefits. The fact that eight projects this year are included in the 100 list is proof of that,” says Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn, Vice-Chancellor at Luleå University of Technology, according to the North Sweden Business Forum.
