First Test Launch From Andøya Space
Isar Aerospace was planning a launch of its rocket Spectrum from Andøya Space on Monday, but the launch has been postponed to Wednesday at the earliest due to poor weather conditions.
This will be the first flight of an orbital launch vehicle from the European mainland. However, the company does not expect to reach orbit today.
"We do not expect to reach orbit with this test. In fact, no company has managed to put its first orbital rocket in orbit. SpaceX needed four attempts, we want to be faster," says CEO and Co-Founder of Isar Aerospace, Daniel Metzler, to VG.
