Companies and networks from Denmark and Alaska join the Arctic Economic Coucil
Arctic Business Network (ABN), a network of Greenlandic and Danish companies operating in the Arctic, has signed up to become a member of the Arctic Economic Council (AEC).
Arctic Economic Council is a pan-Arctic independent business membership organization. The members are both individual entrepreneurs as well as large business organizations with more than 20.000 members. AEC was created by the Arctic Council during the 2013-2015 Canadian chairmanship.
The new member, Arctic Business Network, is a corporate network group of 50 Greenlandic and Danish companies, organizations, and institutions working with expertise in remote areas in the Arctic and the North Atlantic region.
“We join the AEC to expand our international network and thereby share the latest knowledge and be inspired from new business relationships in the Arctic,” says Jens K. Lyberth, board member of ABN.
In addition, Paul Fuhs Professional Service, a consultancy agency from Alaska, US, is also a new member to the AEC. Paul Fuhs is the former Mayor of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and Commissioner of Commerce and International Trade for Governor Wally Hickel.
