Anne Husebekk is director of the Center for Oceans and the Arctic at UiT Norway's Arctic University. Her research and education covers climate, environment and sustainability in the Arctic and globally. Husebekk has a number of positions, including as vice-president of the International Science Council and deputy chairman of the board of the University of The Arctic. In the period 2013-2021, she was rector at UiT Norway's Arctic University.
