Dr. Alina Kovalenko is a researcher and a member of the Applied Economics research group at Nord University Business School. She previously served as a PhD research fellow at the Centre for High North Logistics at Nord University, where her work focused on Arctic maritime shipping, Euro-Asian trade, and transit shipping via the Northeast Passage. Currently, she is a postdoctoral fellow at Maynooth University Business School, specializing in alternative maritime fuels, onshore power supply, and the socio-economic impacts of environmental policies.
